Dateline: Fuquay-VarinaCharlie Demetris Hester, 86, passed away at Harnett Manner in Lillington on December 22, 2008. Mr. Hester was born in Durham County to the late Simon and Selina Hester. He is survived by his wife Hersey and son Donald. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation Friday, December 26, 2008 from 7-9pm at Williford Funeral Home in Fuquay-Varina. Dateline: Fuquay-VarinaCharles William Davidson, Sr., 63, passed away at E. Carlton Power Hospice Center on Thursday, December 18, 2008. Mr. Davidson spent fourteen years in customer service at Home Depot, always providing excellent service in each department and known for telling people he felt, “better than yesterday, not as good as tomorrow.” Mr. Davidson was born in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late John and Amanda Davidson. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Burnard and Clyde. Mr. Davidson leaves behind a beloved wife, Kimberlee, a son, Charles Davidson, Jr. (wife April), daughter, Jeannette Kay Davidson, of Pittsburgh, PA, six brothers and sisters, John, Ronald, James, Barbara, Mary, and Rose, and one grandchild, Baylee Kaye Davidson. There will be a memorial service on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 12:00pm at East Triangle Church of Christ in Morrisville. Services are intrusted to Williford Funeral Home, 919-552-2211. Floyd Yates

Floyd M. Yates, formerly of Pine Bluff, died at his home in Duncan, NC on December 15, 2008. He was born in Malvern, AR and is the son of the late Cecil and Zella (Walters) Yates. He was a graduate of Malvern High School and Ouachita Baptist College. He had been a member of First Baptist Church in Pine Bluff and was currently a member of the congregation of Triangle Bible Church in Raleigh, NC. He was a retired farmer.
He was a very loving brother, husband, and father. He is survived by his wife Charlene, his son Brett, his brother Cecil, all of North Carolina; and his sister Mary Mobley of Bryant, Arkansas.
The family requests that memorials be made to the National Arthritis Foundation and the American Cancer Society.

Judy Gaye Honeycutt Stancil, 65, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008 at the Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington, NC. Mrs. Stancil was born to the late Louis Buford and Mary Rebecca Honeycutt of Wake County.
Mrs. Stancil is survived by her husband Glenn Stancil, sons Ricky Stancil, wife Anita, Chad Stancil, wife Tracy, and daughter Kim Watkins, husband Norman. She also leaves behind two brothers, Ronnie and B.J. Honeycutt as well as five grandchildren: Dustin, Nicole, and Amanda Stancil and Kaleb and Kolby Watkins.
The family will receive friends at Williford Funeral Home Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church in Angier, Sunday, December 7, 2008 at 3pm. Internment will follow in Honeycutt family cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Williford Funeral Home, 201 East Academy Street, Fuquay-Varina, NC.
