Mrs. Honeycutt was very pleased and proud to have former students come up to her and mention being in her English classes and how much they benefitted from her efforts. School plays, Senior Class trips and working on the school annuals were some of the activities she enjoyed with her students. Most of her time was spent with family and school activities. However, she did enjoy the Womens’s Club, VFW Auxiliary, her Sunday School Class, helping to start the Fuquay-Varina Public Library and playing bridge with many friends over the years. But her greatest joy came from her children and grandchildren and watching Carolina Basketball.
