Thegoods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. Youmay choose only the items you desire; however, any funeral arrangements youselect will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal orother requirements mean you must buy items you did not specifically ask for, wewill explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing thefuneral goods and services you select.
Our services include: conducting the arrangementsconference; planning and filing of necessary notices; obtaining necessaryauthorizations and permits; coordinating with the cemetery, crematory, or otherthird parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs.
This fee for our basic services and overhead will beadded to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee isalready included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, andforwarding or receiving remains.)
Preparation of Body

Except in certain special cases embalming is notrequired by law. Embalming may be necessary, however if you select certainfuneral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not wantembalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does notrequire you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. Embalmingwill be required for bodies held longer than 36 hours

This charge includes the basic services of staff,necessary authorizations, embalming, shipping unit, transportation to theairport (within 50 miles). This charge does not include visitation, funeralceremonies, casket, shipping charges, consular fees and permits forinternational shipping.

Direct Cremation
Our charges for directcremation (without ceremony) include removal of remains from the place ofdeath, transportation to the crematory, and basic services of staff. Thecrematory fee is included.
If you want to arrange adirect cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containersencase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or compositionmaterials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide arefiberboard.
