Brenda S. Byrd, 57, of Raleigh, NC went home ot be with her Lord and Savior Janaury 27, 2013 after a serious illness. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Christy, and grandmother to her two wonderful grandchildren. She is survived by her mother, Mary Moslak; sister Phyllis Helms; daughter, Christy Godwin; grandson, Colby; granddaughter, Meredith; nephew, Dwayne Matthews; and brother-in-law, Paul Helms. She was preceded in death by her father, Atlee D. Stephenson of Lexington, SC. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Williford Funeral Home in Fuquay-Varina, NC. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
